The Inertia ensemble has just returned from a very productive and exciting week of discovery and creation through a very generously gifted residency at Camp Ballibay in Pennsylvania. The above image is just one moment of the week's work in which the ensemble explored composition, character, technology, and themes related to an original piece being created by the ensemble. Camp Ballibay is an incredible and unique fine and performing arts camp for children and teens in beautiful northeastern Pennsylvania. Through the great generosity of John Jannone and Camp Ballibay, Inertia was able to accomplish a great deal through the use of a fully equipped theatre space and living accommodations for the week. In exchange, the ensemble offered several workshops and opportunities for campers to attend various open rehearsals in addition to their endless choices of programming that the camp offers.

Important Note: In keeping with our mission of community involvement, cooperation, and philanthropy, a substantial percentage of the proceeds from our April 22nd Fund Raiser will be donated to the Dr. Stephen MLD Foundation

We will be continuing our fund raising efforts throughout this coming year in order to prepare for our first production season in a long time. One of the main fund raising components of this coming 2008-09 season will be a Staged Reading Series. We will be releasing information on this season of play readings and ticket sales for these events soon.
