As part of our mission, a group of Inertia ensemble members will always be engaged in an on-going process of creating an original performance piece. The piece will be dynamic, contemporary, highly physical, engaging deep rooted elements of the human spirit, stemming from the ensemble's truth of experience, and incorporating multiple technologies and performance arts for the purpose of telling a unique story exploring our collective understanding of this world.

Inertia Productions, Inc. is proud to announce their 2010 inaugural production of Inertia's 'thebcam/macbeth' this coming September!  Our creation introduces a new, exciting perspective to the telling of the well-known tale of William Shakespeare's Macbeth and we are inviting you to be a part of this groundbreaking event!

Our company strives to illuminate the human spirit through the exploration of kinetics, imagistic/aural production, physicality, and multi-media integration in a unique form of storytelling.  For the past year and a half, the Inertia Ensemble has been working together in order to create an entirely new theatre piece, Inertia's 'thebcam/macbeth'.  For Inertia, energy inspires movement; movement inspires story; story inspires technology; technology illuminates storytelling and storytelling ultimately illuminates humanity.

Inertia's newly created work, 'thebcam', is based on the ensemble's own personal experiences and life perspectives, but inspired by the devastating fall from grace of a seemingly noble man in Shakespeare's Macbeth.  The powerful potential of language found in Macbeth is as vital and brimming with energy now as it was four centuries ago.  So, this September, Inertia will weave 'thebcam' into 'macbeth'.  We will merge the two worlds into one dynamic experience through Inertia's unique style of performance and storytelling, and bring a visceral modern relevance to Macbeth's sleepless dreaming.  Under the guidance of Inertia's Resident Director, Kevin Kittle, our audience will feel as though they have fallen into the witches' cauldron, providing a groundbreaking meditation on Macbeth that has yet to be attained in any other production.

Inertia Productions strives to illuminate the human spirit through the exploration of kinetics, imagistic/aural production, physicality, and multi-media integration in a unique form of storytelling ;awakening the imagination and spirits of the audience, causing them to depart the theatre with a more evolved and empathetic perspective of the human condition.

Inertia offers day-long workshops or week long residencies which help to teach an understanding of ensemble creation through movement, multi-media development, and understanding how the two come together to expand the possibilities of bringing to life the creative imagination.
